Yesterday at school all the 1st years picked their choices for 2nd year. Picking the choices took all day, everyone took about 20 minutes to pick their subjects. I picked my subjects 5th period, I picked English,Maths,French,Chemistry,Geography,Drama,Computing Studies and Administration. We all start our new subjects 3 weeks before the school’s break up for Summer! I hope i’ve made the right CHOICE!

At High School their is a Talent Show and it is called the LHS Factor. We had to audition to get in to the finals. The auditions were on Tuesday 4th of March. Me and my friend Iona audition we were dancing to the James Bond Theme, it was really fun we practised really hard. On Wednesday 12th March we got to find out who got through Me and Iona got through, we are first on in the whole show. The winner gets a PRIZE OF £30. I hope the Talent Show is a success. Me and Iona want to Win.

Hi everyone as you know today is Valentines Day. Valentines day is always on the 14th of February. Here are some fun facts about Valentines Day. In Medieval times, girls ate bizarre foods on St Valentine’s Day to make them dream of their future spouse. Long before St. Valentine lived, February 14th had strong links with fertility. The date traditionally is known for when birds choose their mates. The first Valentine gift was sent by Duke of Orleans to his wife, after he was captured in 1415.  I hope you all got someone you love something nice for Valentine’s Day.

In a few weeks time I will be making my course choices. Course choices are when you pick your subjects for S2. You have to take English & Maths. So you can choose I.C.T, Geography or History, French or German, Health Food Technology ( H.F.T), Craft Design Technology ( C.D.T), Drama, Art and Design, Music. You have to take 1 Science out of 3. Your choices are , Physics, Chemistry or Biology. So that is all your subjects. I do not know what to pick yet, but when i do i will keep you posted.

Hi Carronshore. On Thursday it was our Christmas Party and it was brilliant.  We done Social Dancing at the start we danced to The Gay Gordans , Eva 3 Step and lots more. After Social dancing we went through to the Hub and we had Juice And Crisps, after that we went back into the hall and we had a DISCO. The disco was really good we danced to lots of good songs like Valerie by Amy Winehouse, Candyman By Christina Aguilera and lots lots more. At 10.15pm we had to go home it was a relief to go home becasue my feet were killing me, being up on that dance floor. I hope i can go to the s2 Dance.

When I started 1^st year there was an opportunity to join a 1^st year Drama Club, so I joined it and it is really good fun. Next week on Tuesday 11^th of December we are performing a poem called ” Twas The Night Before Christmas”, I hope that goes well. At the end of term service on the 21^st of December some of the Drama group are performing a funny show about the Nativity and I’m the ” Director” in the play. After Christmas in January we are performing another show called ” Flannan Isle”, I am a person called Martin who is going away from the Island and going to Flannan Isle with 2 other boys. So we are might be performing other shows later next year. I will keep you updated on what’s happening.

I have started a new theatre company called BBW 4 people run. There are 63 members in it including me. I started in June 2007. We have done our first performance at the Callendar Square - Falkirk. We were doing grease numbers like ” We Go Together” ” Grease Lighting and lots more. We have started our rehearsals for our first stage show called ” Aladdin Jr.” It starts on the 29th of January till the 2nd of February. I am playing a part called ” Prince Dahdu Rahn Rahn” you know like the song. At ” The Falkirk Wheel” we are doing grease numbers again but we are doing it on the 1st of December, 8th of December and the 15th of December. We are also doing something for ” Bill Graham” in January just 2 weeks before our show ” BBW” is going to be their ” Stenhouse School of Dance”, ” Larbert High School” “Professionals” and lots more. I hope everything goes well. I will keep you posted on the news.

All S1 are going to see a movie called The Golden Compass.We are going to see it on the 7th of December. We are going to our 1st Period class ( mines is History) after that we going to a certain room that we meet up in ours is D002. After that we go on the bus to go and see the film. After the film we come back and go on the bus and go to our 6th Period ( mines in Science). Then we go home at 3.30pm

At high school some of the 1st years had a choice to go to London or Paris. We got forms given out to put our name on it and had it back. The teachers picked names out of a hat and only 40 only got to go to London and 40 only got to go to Paris. I got picked to London so I was really happy and Danni (same class in p7 as me) got to go to Paris so she is really happy. In London we are doing alot of things like going to see a West End Show maybe Wicked, going to see the crown jewels, going on the London eye, going to Madame Tussauds ( that is a wax museum), going to the BBC Studios to be a weather reporter ( might get to see some STARS** like Doctor Who) and lots more. I’ll keep you posted on any information about it.

Hi everybody just saying that my first week at L.H.S. I had to find my own way from Monday it was really easy, I thought it was going to be hard. Today I had I.C.T we are learning about, Data Bases, Word Processing and more but i’ve forgot. So hoping to speak to you soon.

It was my first day back at school and it was really good. It was scary on the first day. I had lots of subjects and lots of nice teachers. I hope I like Larbert High School for the rest of my years their. I’m missing Carronshore P.S already I will keep on blogging when i’m in High School. Hope to speak to you soon, bye.
